lol, no they are not fire brushes.

its just some pentooling, with the default spatter brush (24pixel one) at different sizes and angle jitter at max, with the control set to pen pressure. then outer glow and inner glow turned on

Favourite part is the brushing stream thing coming out of the renders leg. excellent technique
