Could anyone tell me how to set a custom logo for my site? The logo which is seen next to the site address, or on the tabs

Heres an example of what im talking about,

it's called a favicon

It's actually very straight-forward. All you have to do is make your icon (16x16 pixels), and save it as a .ico file. Make sure to save it to the same directory that your HTML file is in. (or whatever file you want the favicon to be shown on) Then, just add this line of code between your <head> tags...

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://example.com/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

...where http://example.com/favicon.ico is a link to the favicon you created earlier.

That's it! I hope this helped you out a bit.

I have Photoshop CS3 Extended and I do not have an option for an icon file. I can't save it as .ico
