Hi there.
I made a abstract wallpaper (1024x768) in bryce and yesterday i started rendering.
Well first off all, it still isn't finished! and the % started back at 0% again?? but the whole rendering process is continueing.
SO..my first question is:
Is it normal that the % goes back to 0 but with the rendering process still continueing?
And my second question is:
Is it normal for a render to take almost a day to get to 20% ??
Because I started rendering it yesterday at 15:00. and I left the pc on this night but this morning it was on 20% so it took more then 20 hours to get to 20%..
Please help me out.
My settings are:
Optimization:
-For uniform scenes (grid
-Agressive
Quality:
Super (fine art - AA)
I hope this information is enough and i hope that nyone can help me out.
Need help with bryce

i've never rendered that big but its possible that Bryce will/can take even longer than a cople of days, i've never experienced that myself, the way your settings are set it looks as if you can't go any faster in the way of rendering

its possible but what the heck are you rendering? must be something that has a lot of reflections and lots of other things that would take a while to render, there is a lot of ways to make bryce render faster without buying RAM or installing new hardware

no its not normal most its ever taking for me to render a pic in bryce was 20 mins and that was a 800x600 so it cant take to much longer with a bigger size. also when it renders it does go back 2 zero% 2 times i think. a first render, a second then aa.

What are you pc specs?
You have rendering on superfine, Put it on normal or fine. Change Agressive to normal.
