I used a tutorial on this site: http://www.avengex.c...ing_a_Shoutbox/

I followed the instructions but when i enter in my information it becomes just a white page. I created the connect.php file with all my mysql information properly. I think i created the files right, not entirly sure. I was just wondering if someone had some time today to help me out. This is just really  pising me off!

Well, if you've only included to connect.php file of course it's not going to display anything. The mysql database information isn't sapose to be shown. However, if you could post YOUR code that you use (do not refer to the tutorial you read), than maybe we can be of some assistance. Until then, I'm not too sure if we can help you yet.

If you want, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. or add me to hotmail, aim, yahoo. msn: bigdfbc_2006@hotmail.com, aim: bigdfbc, yahoo: phpfanderek

I prefer to use msn messenger for my "business" related issues. Or anything relating to the web. Thanks

Bigd, this is a forum. It's purpose is for discussion. We appreciate your willingness to help, but if you could keep your actions public rather then private, it could help more people.

Also, it's probably not wise to post your e-mail address where any ol' bot can come by and find it.

lol that's just a whatever email i don't really check it so idc if bots spam it. i understand it's a forum but if they don't want to go full force public, then why not offer to help some? but i understand what your saying. and we still have yet too see his reply to my comment.

Well i see a problem on the tutorial that you read! In show.php there is 2 $query variables... Change the first variable to $sql or whatever, then go on from there. that may be your problem!
