Well sometimes you have to water your lawn even if it's raining if there's not enough coming down. It's drizzling a bit here but not enough for the lawn so I'll need to go water mine too.

You also have to water your lawn if you want to give it some kind of fertilizer or stuff like that, even if it rains

Well i used to think that about my father but then he explained that since he had a water tank he would rather the water overflow on the lawn/gutter then all around a heavy water tank shifting the ground and all.
