The design quite simple, good for a blog, not over the top, could be a little wider though. There are some issues in firefox however, the navigation links under Categories are not aligned correctly and they are not rectangular, as in IE.
Also, what is the purpose of the grey rectangle going down the right side of the page...is something supposed to be there? If it's just for design, it is essentially taking up much needed room on an already width-limited layout.
As for the content, to be honest, I have not taken the time to read it, perhaps later.
Overall, good work, just look into the display issues in Firefox and about that grey portion on the right side.

You can do more add some effects and images it will look sleek.
