Look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's a... really weird looking skyscraper

A new and bizarre building is coming to the skyscraper bejeweled landscape of Dubai. In Dubai, home to one of the world's most impressive skylines and many of the world's tallest skyscrapers (Emirates Towers, the Burj Dubai, the Palm Islands and the world's tallest, and most expensive hotel, the Burj Al Arab), big buildings are not unusual. However, the dynamic tower is anything but your average big building.

The Dynamic Tower will really stand out from an
already impressive Dubai skyline (shown here in an
artist's rendering).

Well this is a cool prototype for a house... Just interesting would be if one of these really works if built and how will it survive the nature....
But I so agree with CrazedLlama:)

Unfortunately I think this statement is completely non-sense. If you'd have to stop creating stuff and investing in research just for the sake of saying that there are people out there starving then the whole world could stop moving.

They are brilliant because they plan in advance. They know that their oil supplies won't last forever so they invest into tourism.

Well yeah, we could never stop investing, and researching, but why should we all invest it in one building? How many bilions are going into that one building? Why not make some future hospitals, some awesome schools, build some houses for the poor, and give more jobs. A Building will always just be a building in the end.

And if oil supplies don't last any longer, i doubt people will want to visit since Gas prices will be too much, etc.

You can't just "give" more jobs. Actually these buildings create jobs. That sounds like your typical liberal canned response to anything.

Probably 2 billion will go into the building. Much less than one of our aircraft carriers hahaha.

Pssh if only they had gravity turned on in this render. The furniture would go flying side to side at that speed. Neat idea, but I don't know how you wouldn't get annoyed getting into that building.

I'm sure they would have counted for that man - I don't think they'll let it rotate fast enough for that

I still think some people would get sick from constant movement.

I bet you that you barely even feel it.... I've been to a restaurant where it rotates while you eat and trust me you can't even notice it unless you have window seats... it's pretty fun to be honest....
