i have not stopped my canyonrun animation. i just ran out of ideas. so i decided to make a goblin. since everyone who uses 3d stuff seems to at some point

be aware these are very early days... (about 2 hours work)
so he is absolutaly no where near finished....
crit would still be welcome...
maybe ideas for painting.. and what to do with the eyes

his face is a bit too wide (viewed from the front) it makes him look less evil and goblin-ish...evil magical goblin people usualy have very thin heads...the ears are very good though and i think he should have uber cool aviation goggles to go along w/ the facemask (which is sweet by the way but could be fitted a little closer to his jaw)...

indeed... the face is staying the width it is currently (but thanks for the note)
even tho i could change it... but that would involve re distributing everything....

aviation goggles is an awesome idea
he could be some kind of air goblin... thanks allot !

the goggles are still not done, and the shades bit is being changed. it was just there to show where the glass is.
but its coming along nicely thanks to birdmans idea

another update.. i think the goblin will be in some form of flying device... or thats how it is coming out...

thats wicked cool! maybe make the edges a bit smoother on the goggles themselves (lol, i almost spelt googles ) but other than that they are great! that extra lense thing is awesome, but should be a little smaller it think, but thats an awesome idea...i love those tube things you have goin on around the head connecting to stuff! looks really cool!

p.s. for refernces, maybe check out warcraft's zeppelin goblin characters (cant remember the real name) they have some cool goggles

the edges where smoother but due to chuggy pc i reverted them... they will be smooth when i do the later renders

ok peeps.....
do i put him in a buggy (like a scout or a moonlander)...
do i make him a sniper of some kind
or do i put in in some form of aircraft

Maybe put him in a tower and place a sniper in his hand... or place him in a some type of aircraft were he is aiming with sniper or something .

most definitely a sniper...tower would be cool...like lookin over a desolate battlefiled after having helpd defeat whoever was coming to kick the shi* out of him

i have started moddeling a wheel so i might create a buggy (i do not have to use it as the tower idea sounds friggin awesome )... the buggy could be a wreck or sumthing...
dam you guys got imagination

anyway.. the wheel, it isnt finished yet. the materials need some improving and the some more pattern type stuff is coming

EDIT:i dont want to double post for a small update.. but i continued work on the buggy type thing and i have been working on the engine block

it is not goblin enough yet so there is allot of work to do on it

i think i am going to start that tower now.....
havent done anymore since the last post.... except a small amount of detailing not worth the upload...
shall work on a tower... shall make it orky .. so should be fun...
first to make a clean 1 with nice curves and stuff.. then cut bits out and stick random things on
oh yeah i have decided the scene

goblin snypa in tower (thanks to poeples ideas)has just shot an ork in the buggy. buggy will be closer up to the camera with the goblin a bit further away.... hmm....
