2nd one looks good, kinda looks like a comic book cover or an add presenting the Iron Fist, not bad at all. I will suggest for future sig's try to stick with one Focal point and working on blending. I know there are some good tut's on the Home page here that could help. All N All G/J, I'm sure you will get the hang of things and we'll be seeing alot more out of you. Good Luck, if there's anything you need just ask!

No problem and never say you suck. If your just learning, it will be difficult to accomplish what your actually thinking. It takes time and effort (trial and error) if you want to think about it like that. No one ever gets it perfect on their first attempt. You'll get it down. Hell I still have problems sometimes and I've been at it for a couple years now.

Maybe try working with different layers and one brush in different colours, then play around with blending modes..
Put a render on top, work with that as well, so it all blends in nicely, see what you come up with.

And follow lots of tutorials, for example here on
Pixel2Life or on www.good-tutorials.com

I feel ya erick, I've been working lately to increase my designing ability. It just takes time, and don't give up. I did for awhile and lost everything i had learned.
