hey guys... i recently finished developing a major project but i had to do some sacrifices, which can be easily fixed...
so my question is...
when i throw a textbox in a web form, and a query a database, i want that multiline textbox to adjust its height at runtime server code execution based on the lenght of the data so that the data does not exceed the the height of the textbox and cause a scrollbar to appear

this is ASP.net programming, so if anyone can help me for ASP related stuff... if not ill take any programming language solution to the problem and try to apply it to my server backend code

thank you

and another link, which is for a specific program or product, but the code provided in the post might help and give you a rough idea of what needs to be done with javascript.
