Well i started 1 hour ago with terragen and i like it!
Ofcourse my first one is not a beauty but just wanna share.

woah dude pretty darn good for ur first attempt in an hr, well first off, u should learn surface mapping, that gives color to the landscape instead of just rocks, so u could have like forests on ur mountains. also try working with camera heights just for diff perspectives, but really nice job man

There is a great, pdf explaining how the surface maps work on the Terragen website. I found it helped to get the basics down, then once you feel confortable then its pretty much trial and error.

wow your kidding.... this is not your first try... it very good, i can almost feal the breez in my face and my tirst comes high when i see that water
