I Sliced Up My Design In Photoshop, But It Seems I Can't Add Any Text In Dreamweaver, My DIV Positioning Is Not Working I Was Just Going To Put The Div Over The Area I Want Text On. Dreamweaver CS3 is missing some features I was use to in previous versions, might downgrade, for instants when i try to drag the div over the layout it won't work, in MX I used layers and it worked fine... my design is 800X700 and its the body content and each image is sliced.

in MX i just dragged and drop text where i wanted it, i can't do that on CS3


BTW heres the design im trying to code



oh i even tried tables for my text, it still wont let me position or anything

is the validated HTML code XHTML, cause Divs Are XHTML elements

Hey Praise, looking cool! May I suggest that the top part lines up with all the rest of the page though? It would look more professionally awesome, you know? Good work.

the body bg matches the background of the layout so it looks perfectly centered when coded, i might take out one of them tho. i can take the first box out at the top and put the 3 in the center, its a place for links to other sites, im going to put a flash scroller underneath so people can see more links





i'm working on a banner now, trying to find a good stock photo site, willing to pay for high quality photo's

im thinking about integrating the phpbb member system with my layout so members that register on my site wont have to register again to post on the forums

If you are looking for a stock photo site here is one:

You can sign up for free and browse photos and save the ones you like, there are informational disclaimers on each photo that say what kind of rights you have to the photos.

There's probably a lot of others, especially if you are willing to pay.
