Im currently talking to a few people off this forum about hiring one of them to code my new blog layout so it can be loaded onto wordpress.

Could you give me your honest feedback on the layout and if you think anything should change like the colour etc.

Hey High Definition,
Here is my feedback...

- Cool look, very tidy
- Have you thought about how you want it to look/ what you are going to do about when there are more posts and the height of your content on the left exceeds the height of the right side menus? (In other words have you got a graceful plan to handle the overflow?)
- The banner or title background colour could maybe be a bit darker or even just a faint gradient just to give some contrast? Maybe you don't want that but it might be something to try out...
- To save you a bit of bandwidth/load time you could probably code this entire layout without the need for graphics (except for the RSS icon)

cheer tyson. I was hoping the bottom table which has the meta options would just expand as the site expands or I would just have it as empty space.

ive made a few different designs. could I have your feedback on them. Ive changed the colour and some other bits.

I think the first version is just a tad too simple but yet stylish, maybe you could add a brighter colour for the titles or such for a little dynamics, I don't know

I must say tho, I like the dark ones better, specifically I fancy the third one the most. A good choice of fonts and colour tones. Only thing that bugs me about it is that gap of space in the Categories section but owell.

The first design needs contrast, it's too blue, but the darker ones are pretty nice. I totally agree with laste about the categories gap, it looks pretty weird, but apart from that you have a nice design there

I feel the dark design is much better.

I think I will add a calander into that empty section. As it will be layered over wordpress so I can add a calander easily.

Out of the 4 dark designs which one do you think looks best?
