After months of design, coding, testing, and writing, Sideline Soccer is now live! Our mission is to educate coaches, players and fans regardless of experience, ability, age, or location on all aspects of the beautiful game of soccer, to promote and encourage sportsmanship and fair play, and to have some fun along the way! Sideline Soccer wants you to think outside the ball!

This website has been a goal of mine (no pun intended!) for quite some time. It has taken 2 years to get to this point, mostly because I didn't have the time to work on the website. I finally pushed myself over the past few months and I'm very happy to say that it is finally here!

There will be more categories added as articles are written so don't think what you see is all you'll get. Believe me we have big plans for this website! Please tell all your coaches, teammates, and friends and family who are fans of soccer about our website. Let's get the ball rolling!

Looks good overall although the text is a little big IMO and on the tabs the text is a little blurry.

Yeah I also feel that the text is way too big, and what about adding some tables to your content, give it a bit more structure. Everything seems to be floating all over the place. Just my opinion :-)
Other than that...great job!

Thanks for the feedback! I lowered the font size just a tad.

I think the layout is great. I love how you can change the skin color of the banner at the top, very well done.

I would have to say the text size is just fine. You will be having a wide variety of people, demographically, viewing your web page. It is smart thinking to have the text easy to read and your layout easy to navigate. You have composed both traits well. IMO, this web site is not meant to show off a design savvy guy/gal's skills to get their "OOH's" and "AHH's" from the rest of us. You have, although, made a great marriage of design and easy usability without compromising the web site's real content/message.

Props.

Thanks ToreDefine I appreciate the feedback! You hit it dead on. I wanted to keep it simple and focus on the content more than the design. I still wanted a design that was decent and fun and I'm glad you noticed that!

Hey everyone, I added a new Play page to Sideline Soccer. My first game is called Backyard Juggling! Thanks to my buddy Ben for doing the actionscript for me!
