I get it. Tables aren't great. And there are better solutions. Alright, I just have to read up a bit more on how to use CSS/Divs and make websites that actually, um, work.

Here's what I'd like!

At least - that is what I'd like if you're using the latest of firefox. Two fixed headers (each with known height and 100% width). And two columns underneath, one for links (which is 150px wide) and another for columns (which is 100%-150px wide). I would like them to scroll, you see - which is why the width/height is important. (The height of both these collumns should effectively be 100%-100px).

Can someone please give me some pointers on how to achieve this? I am able to do it using bottom/right positioning in FF - but IE doesn't support those properties - and I'd like my site to work on all browsers >_<

I'll keep looking around for solutions.. and I'll check back here too :google: Thanks

Edit*

http://charklii.com/attempt.php"]http://charklii.com/attempt2.php - Attempt 2 doesn't work in IE either :s And even if it did it isn't ideal as I wasn't able to keep the width of the links to column to 150px (rather 15%..).. Still, it may provide someone something to get ideas from if anyone can even be bothered to look through code ;)

Why do you need iframes? They can get annoying and usually don't look pleasing to the eye.
