[Jd-GFX]

Hi guys and gals. New here - Since being signed off from work i have had some time on my hands to get back in to photoshop. After years of making small sites with friends i feel im ready to create something for my work, tutorials and resources. I have had fun making this layout but hit a dead end with the colour scheme and the content area and nav boxes. Every day i go back to the layout i change my mind because i just cant make up my mind with the nav area. Do you really think the nav and content looks good enough? Having it full of writing boosts the looks but it looks slightly boring to me. I'd really like to make it looks excellent before slicing it. Please give me the comments and criticism i need. Thanks guys !

Well I'll tell you first off that I love your top banner. Very appealing. As for the nav area, I can see what you mean. It isn't bad, but I feel it could be better. Honestly, I can't really think of how to spice it up. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I do like the marble-looking design to it though.
