Thats a nice tutorial just real quick
Im guessing you can then go into linear overlay set one side to transparent and screen? and then thats how you get something similar like the p2l image at the top of this page.

Really nice tut! Great for backgrounds as well as impressive effects.
Perhaps playing around with sharpen will give even more focus on the cubes! Additionally, it can also be used on text to add a special touch! Keep up the good work!!!
