I sure hope we have no members in its path and safely somewhere, anyone wondering what will happen to all the data centers in Houston? I recall the last huge storm to hit there a few years back they had skeleton staff sleep in the buildings but no damage ever occurred. Suggest if your hosting is in Houston you'd be wise to do a backup of your site just incase. http://www.webhostin...ad.php?t=721984

I live in Pasadena which is close to houston but is closer to galveston than houston is. Getting pretty high winds and lots of rain, I am extremely supprised my power hasnt gone out since usually it goes out in small storms. The power flicks on and off probably at least once every five minutes, and sometimes for a minute or two the power will be out and will come back on. There are also transformers blowing up constantly nearby, I guess from the heavy wind and rain.
For some reason my cable tv went out a few hours ago and my internet.

I got a small bit of video footage ill upload if anyone even cares, its not supurb since I can't see anything out where my street is adn have to camera out my back door, but it may give you a generalization as to what is(was) going on.

Wow your lucky to have power but I guess now you don't now as you never came back with the footage, they're saying over 3 million without power now and will be that way for weeks and a few more hours before they can see the full extent of the damage this has caused. Stay safe.

Heres a video I made, taking multiple video clips from my camera. I drove around in the morning checking out all the damage.

I will try to get the footage I have of it raining though its not much.

Power went out last night at 3am and came on at about 8 or 9. The only reason I have power now is because a man that live on my side of the street works for the energy company, which he got the power working. the funny thing is that the houses across the street don't have power.

over here nature disasters are almost never included (standard) in insurrance. You have to pay more for that.
Off course we dont get many disasters here
