I have this image in my head of what I want for the website I am working on but I can't seem to make it happen. I know my way around Photoshop but everything I have tried just seems to look bad.

What I am trying to do is have a line basically dissolve into just pixels and fall away instead of having it fade slowly or something. I have Googled my heart out and found nothing. I am sure there is a tutorial for this somewhere so if anyone knows of one their help would be very much appreciated.

well u could rend clouds the line, mosaic it (to get the pixel shapes), then from there you're gonna be stuck doing it manual buddy, Selecting each block and moving it / rotating where you need.

I know exactly what you mean though, have one end of the line look like destroyed legos.
