For awhile now i've been wanting to start up a project that will teach people programming. Not only via tutorials, but via well written tutorials and with self-written articles too. I feel that people wanting to learn tutorials and get into certain programming languages might not be able to get to the learning resources they need to learn those languages and I want to do something about this.

This is why today I announce the production of Twodded, a collection of high quality tutorials written by professional and very talented up and coming programmers. We aim to write over a range of tutorial categories including Visual Basic, C#/C++, XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, Perl/CGI, ASP and of course, featuring majorly: PHP. (But of course not all of these tutorial categories will be available on launch)

This will also include a range of various "just for fun" projects, that the team will put together. These will just be for fun and basically to see how people react to them, but of course will be full sites and eligable for portfolio/cv entry, as will the Twodded site itself.

Benefits of being a staff member include working by other talented programmers from sites such as from Twod.co.uk, Spoono.com and even the Pixel2Life team itself We would also like to say that we by no means go "oi give us 5 tutorials a week or we'll whoop you", we will give you time to write each tutorial and you can often see us squabbling over who ate the pie more than forcing people to do work..

Of course, we have our basic staff set but would love some talented programmers/tutorial writers for any of the following categories:
ASP/ASP.net
C#/C++
CGI
JavaScript
PHP (You MUST know something else other than javascript/xhtml/css)
Visual Basic/Visual Basic.net

(Note you don't have to be talented in all of them, one or more is just fine..)

- No, only the project thats we will be doing, and we already have several in development

"Why aren't you accepting XHTML/CSS applications?"
- We have plenty of staff for this

"Why can't i apply if i only know PHP"
- We have PHP covered We are now looking for just the categories left on in the list on the bottom of the post above

"How long until i know if i'm accepted or not?"
- We will delay a week or so before making our decisions on team members
