I might give it a try. 
The last time I entered a similar competition, I posted my design and later, just before the due date, the site went down for at least a month. After that there was nothing mentioned about the competition on the whole site nor at the forums.

On second thought if the competition closes on 9th May, I probably don't have time to design a logo, since I'm making a cutscene demo for another competition that ends around the same date.
Unless I make something quick, of course.
