does anyone know a good tutorail on how I could make a image slider like either http://www.bigstockf...h-81/index.html or http://www.bigstockf...h-77/index.html or perhaps someone could shed some light on how i can do it.?

I am using CS4 and yes I have used actionscript but only minimally I only know the basics I wouldn't know where to start to code something like that.

Flashmymind.com should get you a good handle on actionscript, basically to do this you'll need to do several things.

1. get comfy with AS 3
