[Solved]IE 4 background image bug

building a site with a multiple background workaround...(link removed)

used this tutorial http://htmldog.com/p...ives/000107.php works fine in FF chrome and safari even IE 8 has no probs but in IE 8 compatablitly mode it looks borked! so a bit stumpted on where i went wrong.

are there any quick fixes? or suggestions?
tbh if its that bad whats the code for older IE browsers to use a different css?

ah a problem with my code... might be able to work around this myself
