Alright, here it goes. I am hoping to develop a website for fiance's mother's salon, called Red Roote. The site she has now is lame, you can view it here. As you can see, it is very plain. I want a simple yet professional looking website with a shopping cart like method of purchasing her products. I have tried the following scripts so far: CubeCart, OS Commerce, and Zen Cart. The problem with these scripts is that I do not know PHP enough to make a decent themed site, and free templates are not what I want. I really want an html webpage, I know HTML and I can edit it easily.
A website I would love to have mine resemble is http://allwebco-temp...ples/dropBG.htm
It has drop down menue's but is simple enough to figure out. AND, under Gallery there is "Purchase Items" which is simply paypal links, which is probably who I will run transactions through.
What I guess I am asking for is a template (one you build or a link you found) of a site that resembles the sample I linked above, that has some of the same features - mainly drop down menus and a header I can change.
If you are interested in helping me out with the design, and want further information, you can email me, haydro@usamedia.tv, or you can reply here. ANY help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
Where To Start?

I have tried OS Commerce, it is fairly easy - HOWEVER, it is not easy to edit the look. This is why I am looking for something HTML I can edit easily, like
http://allwebco-templates.com/templates/sa.../dropBG-DLX.htm
http://allwebco-templates.com/templates/sa.../dropBG-DLX.htm

OS Commerce also comes with different skins or themes, you can also buy them.

madcow, those people are either freelance designers or are in a firm. The problem is that it would cost quite a bit, myself I am charging a little over one hundred for a shopping cart I am coding for another client. If they were to make it a few times the bill would probably rise into the two to four hundreds maybe more.
haydro, I would love to build you your own customizable shopping cart for a small fee, if you would like it then feel free to PM me. The price will in no way be like the one above, the amount above is due to the fact that there are atleast three hundred plus features in it. Yours could be designed in any way you like and have any features you would like (other than PayPal or payment integration... long story with spoono host, trust me).
Otherwise, if you would truely like a free script I would suggest doing a search on www.hotscripts.com . (Although, I think you would like it more if it was custom coded and no one else in the world had it, right?
