I am having difficulty with all my image software viewing the same image differently.

Let's say I take a snapshot of a clip of a movie I was watching in Media Classic player. Colors originally look balanced in the player but when saved as a snapshot they are heavily contrasted and a lot of noise is added.

And when I open it in PS it's the same thing, but if I open it in Corel Painter it looks like it did while being viewed in the player. ( I thought this was just due to filters with the player until I found out that corel displayed it the same way as the player )

This is also the same though with pictures taken from a camera for me to though, not just film. I imported a picture that just looked way too contrasted in both windows gallery and PS, but looked amazingly smooth and color corrected without any noise in corel. Though if a open it in corel and save it and view it with windows gallery or ps it still looks bad, it's only when it's viewed by Corel.

Anyone know why they are all displaying differently?
