Anyone has good resource or links or programs on checking your traffics source for your website?
How do I know how many people visit my site at what time, and what they like on what they view, who link to my site etc...?

Thanks

Cheers
Steve

There is Analytics, Statcounter and most hosts have analog 6.0 pre-installed.
But I prefer using analytics :)

You can set up some traffic checker tool at your website. You may get one from Bidvertiser.

There are many ways to check traffic.

If you are looking to check traffic of your competitor's website then you can only do it with the help of Alexa.

For your website you can use Google analytics or Cpanel which have awstats installed in it. This tool tells you everything about your traffic...

Even there might be many more such tools over internet but not in my knowledge as of yet!

The most popular one is obviously Google Analytics. If you are part of a big enterprise company, then Omniture is perhaps your best option. I have used AWStats as well, however I did not like it too much.

Google Analytics FTW :). Simply install the tracker code on all your pages and you should be set to go. It allows you to see navigation path summaries, entrance and exit points - the number of visitors you got on specific days, weeks, months and even compare them to past data.

That is just the tip of the iceberg, you can do tons more - especially with their new in-page analytics where they are able to show you your website page and tell you how many percentage of visitors clicked on any specific links.

Try it out.
