I've only spent about 2 days on this particular project (really not very long in comparison to my other work); making tweaks in C4d and slight overlay adjustments in Photoshop. I cannot ignore a slight sense of incompleteness which is why I posted here and not in DeviantArt (where most of the crowd is full of "yes" people). Before I go on, I will also mention that this will be a part of my own graphic arts community.

I need someone to tell me NO for once or give me pointers. This project has been rather rushed and I've already encountered a mental block.

it's a bit tooo much for a banner so personally i'd turn it into a flash interface and possibly stretch its height to be the actual site.

The exhausts on the bottom corners in 3s (not saying they are) could do with being stretched into the body rather than looking like little stubs. Also you need a greater range of textures and shades in there really. shadow marks on the chrome and possibly some aluminium piping to outline features?

Interesting input. I suppose I could make two projects out of this one.

For the banner, I could cut out almost everything except the blue panel.

For the flash, maybe a size change of the panel and some actual pipes/tubes coming out of the "stubs".
The environment of my chrome material should contain a higher contrast picture to bring out the shadows.
