hey , i need a tut for c4d on how to make shiny relfective material that i see on a lot of sigs for the abstract shapes that i made in c4d. is their a tut on it?

If you have AIM/MSN i can send you a metal material i modded from one that came with c4d. It works great - heres a shot of it with one of many abstracts i made with it:
