Hello All.

I am into police cars and I RP a cop on a Online Game that I play. For my forum signature, I wanted to take a police car that I like and animate the lights on it. I have found the vehicle I would like to use but I am unsure how to make realistic lights using Photoshop so I can create an animation as if the vehicle strobes and lights were actually on. I am sure I can do the animation part easy but creating the lights are the issue.

I would like to request a tutorial to help me create realistic lights to add to vehicles and such.

The easiest and quickest way would be using "lens flare" and erasing some of the reflection dots(note that results might not be satisfying)

If you look around on Pixel2life you can find a lot tutorials about car lights(headlights,backlights,neon lights etc..)
For example look here
