Ive been hearing some things about a Photoshop CS2 so i decided to look on the adobe site...and there it was and im like "omg" and started drooling.

So does anyone know anything about it, or have the program? And if so is it even worth the upgrade?

it doesnt sound worth the upgrade. it sounds like some of the things are "more intellegent" like the magic wand or something and a new file browser. but i dont see the point of the file browser anyway. i do know on www.studica.com you can get CS and a free upgrade to CS2 for like 289

the "tryout" version isnt out yet. i want it to see if its worth the money.

There are definately some cool features though (such as the smart image, which could be very useful). I'm going to have to take a look at this once I get a chance.

It might be worth the buy for me, i've spent countless hours wrestling with the magic wand.

lol u used to depend on the thing. now im much better with the different lassos. some features besides a new magic wand would be nice for that mooooney though

na but for real, i dont really kno how much more new features cs2 has but im shure its not too much more advanced and a must get than cs.

I read the new featres, thez dont seem that usefull, nothing you couldnt do before, only some stuff to make thew whole thing easier for people who are new to the programme

Looks like a pretty good update, some new things to help you along. Also instead of just comming with imageready CS2 it comes with that and a program called Adobe bridge.

Also decided to look at what the new CS2 bundle thing is....something like $1100 crazy.

id say a fair few will, also, most of them updates arent that good, although i like the sounds of multiple layer handling

What? why would they want to buy macromedia? oh well, theyre probably gonna make some wicked programs with it(hopefully).

CS2 i heard about that right before it came out and my friend told me he got it.
I was thinking it was kinda early for them to release a new PS but it seems to be more of an update to certain tools.. :/
