Hey guys. Could anyone tell me what things I would need to know how to do to make this?:

I'm trying to make a mockup for a multi-emulator front end that will show exactly how I plan it to work, and I want to base it off the very awesome DiRT menus. The plan is that I can make this, and then lobby for a programmer to help me make it a reality. But I have no idea where to start with this thing.

So could anyone tell me what kinds of technical things are being used in this video? I'm looking for terms that I can google tutorials for. Thanks for your time!

There is alot of work behind that video. If you want to make it from scratch you will need alot of knowledge about masking and keyframing and After effects in general. The best place to start is http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/

BUT! There is a simpler solution. You can just capture video from the game and then edit it in After effects. This method is a bit less complicated than the last one but it still requires some intermediate skills in after effects.

I still reccomend going for Video copilot website no matter which method you chose.
