Text Image Creating

Hi. How can I create a TEXT only image with a transparent background using PS5? Please give details as I am new to PS in general. Thanks.

1. Create a new file, and give the size of it let's say 900x600px.
2. Select a Text tool from the toolbar and enter some text. The text will be created as a new layer. You can of course adjust it (color change, layer effects...)
3. Make "Background" layer invisible - click on the eye symbol the to the layer called "Background" on the Layers list.
4. Use Save for web option from file menu and save the picture as PNG24.

Before step 4 you can crop the text so that no additional empty area be saved together with text picture. I'm not sure where is appropriate option in CS5 as I'm own CS2.

For future reference, if you're commonly creating images that require a transparent background, it's an optional setting when starting a new project, towards the bottom of the box.
