For those of you who a regurlary on DeviantArt you will have noticed that it displays certain details about pictures, like Exposure time etc. I was wondering how you would be able to do that...

A computer can't tell you how the long the exposure is or what f-stop setting the camera was on, you'll have to get the user to enter the info themselves. Although you can use languages like PHP to display image size, dimensions etc.

Actually Adam, most cameras digitally encode that information into the picture file upon capture. After that, it's just a matter of the computer/script being able to recognize and decode the information. Mine does, for instance.
