Ever wondered how to make a sig with this font effect? Well this tutorial will explain how to do it.

First of all make a sig without a font. I used this one:

Now write something down with some nice font, I used Aerial.

Ofcourse you can blend the text a bit but do not use any overlay because then it might not work. Also I advise you not to use the color white for the text.

Now make a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N. This new layer must be created above the font layer.

Press G to get to the gradient tool and make it a reflected gradient.

Don't forget to change it into the color you want the gradient to be. I used some sort of yellow.

Now hold your mouse button and make a little horizontal line in your sig, when ready drag the gradient to the beginning of the text (NOT on the text!).

After this, press Ctrl+G. The gradient has disappeared, but dont worry.

Now we are finished in Photoshop, so press Ctrl+Shift+M to go to Image Ready.

You will see a little window with animation on it. Press the button that is indicated by the arrow to duplicate the frame.

You got two frames now. Select the second frame and drag the (invisible)gradient to the other side of the text (NOT on the text!).
When ready we are going to tween the animation frames. Press the tween button and change the settings into this:

Now all you have to do is change the delay of the last frame into 2 seconds.

Good job, you're ready now! But if I were you I would change the opacity of the text a littlebit (your own choise).
To do this you have to select all the frames. The way to do it is: select the first frame + hold Shift, now select the last frame.

I put the opacity on 80%
