im making a site called ProgrammersHaven.org. it will have programming tutorials and programs for download along with photoshop, web page design, and computer hardware. could somebody help me make a good logo?

Could you give a little more information please? It's hard to come up with a concept without a little background 
What's your philosophy, what sets you apart from the others, etc, as well as what sort of image you'd like to portray

If your having a hard time designing a logo, why not try a text style logo. Play around in photoshop with the the words that make up your website name, and then toy around with them (change color, size, etc). After working with your text, you may see simpler designs made from the letters that will inspire a logo idea, or you can leave it as is.

ye thats what i did look at my avatar. i couldnt get a logo that i liked so i just messed with the text till i got somethign decent.
