hi all

Im making a personal webpage following some tutorials , and im now "stuck" ...

I look at it...and .. someting is missing , cant figure it out what...so i need you opinions.
what is good...what is not... what would you do ?

Dont be so harsh.. im kind of new at this

i dunno too much about layouts , but from an aesthetic pt of view, i think the header is way too tall

Thank you for ur replys i made some modifications , almost done :

Just getting troulbes to make the righ menu bar.....i walk tthru several tuts , and i cant quite figure it out what to do....someone want to give an ideia?




Now , just for the final retouches , wich one should i work with?

dunno wha tyou mean about the right menu bar so I wont comment on it (do you mean the nav bar at the top?)

I like the height of the banner.... keep it. the only thing I don't like it the top header text.... make it smaller, or even take it off.... that bar that overlaps the other box under it (the one with the text "temp layout design..."). looks okay otherwise... but I really don't like the footer for some reason.

I wouldn't add all those affiliate banners like that, they kill the template and your template is too small so the focus goes to them and not your site. Add them as text links, or have them on there own page but not on main.

or just have a link with them all... thats what most people are doig nowadays

I really like it but besides these points.

Its width is too small, make it 800 ish for now?
Dont like links on left, maybe a shoutbox?
Footer image is kinda out of place.

Besides taht it is good.

Footer does stick out its way too dark for me the affiliates def need to go id put a nav bar there if i were you or a shout even but becareful of the shout dont make it standout too much or it will detract from ur site like the affiliates..otherwise the overall scheme is nice and clean, i likes.

hum...thank you all for the critics. Didnt expect so much positive feddback from a n00b in this like me.

so things to change : the quick links/affiliates stand out to much - the fotter - and make it a little more big..and live the colour scheme.
