I didn't make this but one of my friends posted it on another forum. I thought it was amazing...he didn't make it either but I was wondering if any of you knew how to make images like this.

It's a 3D image, maybe Maya or 3D Max.

It's the shake effect that makes it 3D, the bg shakes faster then the dinosaur, and the nose of that thing is making an opposite shake.
(like the bg goes from left to right, and the nose from right to left)

i dont think its the shake effect... look above the nose at the eyebrow.. a small bit of that disapears and reapers behind the nose... i dont think it is a 3d model as it doesnt look like 1.... they tend to be cleaner and have sharper edges....
it looks like it is 1 of those promotional statues that poeple spend AGES modeling and painting... then they put a camera down take a pic then move the camera round a bit and take another pic... then you have your shaky look...
