i made this maybe a week or so ago and i kinda like it, its simple and clean but it looks complete to me



EDIT: i recommend clicking on it to see the patterns, the downsized image messes them up

you should put a lil something in the middle to give it more of a point.

lol yea, and with a bit of experimentation, i made the stripe line up perfectly with the icon grid so you can fit 3 across with a 1024 x 768 resolution and theyre perfectly centered

I like plain wallpapers, but....this just seems like a gradient background a vertical bar stuck in the middle :| even in simple backgrounds its best to have something stand out to focus on.

Nice job anyway though.

i tried flipping the image 90* and put a silver 2005 mustang on it but it just didnt look right

i think what it needs is a type of logo in the top right corner

Or something ON the bar, that would look good too, like some text or a logo

its really blank. maybe add some abstract at the bottom of the bar/line thing.

edit: umm.... also maybe add some text to the right side where theres a big blank. make it small and have the link to your site with the name of the wallpaper a bit larger than it (overtop if the url).
