Im going for a fresher look for V2, I dont really want to change a lot, just some new color, the current version is too monotone (white/grey)

After playing around with the logo, I came up with this:

Click it to see full version, and dont mind the white margins on the top and left side, imagine that the blue reaches the edge of the screen :D

Give me some comments and crit. on it.

Will update with layout positioning etc.

Its just a rough, so dont clue in on small details :hi:

love your work, but you use those 45-degree lines too much :D maybe (if u use them) make them further apart and bolder. also, when you saved the header it came out looking weird. save it for web (if using ps). also, make the background a bit lighter.

Ya, i was concerned about the Adobe CS2 pics in the banner, but I see it being used in many places, and in icons using the adobe photoshop logo etc, and there seems to be no problem.. i unno for sure

Here is the latest update:

The side 45 degree lines made thicker, and navigation (no text) idea added, will turn darker green when mouse over.

I dont really like the background color for it, and i think the 45 degree angle lines should be smaller. I just don't like it for some reason.

Nice layout, I prefer the one with the thicker lines.

As far as I know, you aren't allowed to use the CS2 logos/icons in such context. You can use them unmodified in their original form or for private use. You shouldn't really keep them, i'm sure a lawsuit from Adobe won't be particuarly nice for you.

now that, is a pimped out layout. GREAT job with the lines :D I lovem' too, but I hate when they're so small. juss one thing in association with the buttons... chnage them. put them there some other way. those boxes for hem are so 3 years ago :P

Love the look, but I dont think your logo sticks out enough... Maybe if you had a low opacity larger version behind your header somewhere, I dunno. Maybe you could include it somewhere else? Not sure, looks good so far though!
