Does anybody know how to get rid of the white outer glow thats on gifs when you have a transparent backround? (and no i do not mean outer glow in blending options before anyone mentions it)

So you mean you have an image that has a white outline when you put it on a dark background? If so, that's a common issue with transaparent gifs. You have to design one for light backgrounds, and one for dark.

edit: nvm its all good, insetead of using .gif i used .png and it works perfectly

Yep... PNG accounts for transparency in the outter pixels. That'll do it

yeah... i missed the good old days when using the mac os dock emulation on my XP. the PNG icons was really supperb. but if i'm not mistaken, isn't PNG file's transparency only works on IE, is it?
