textpattern.com is really good
but its not a tutorial

i cudnt find a blog tutorial either

This is not exactly Mini but its one of the best tuts for blogs and there is a few out there

32 paged tutorial on how to build a blog in dreamweaver with php and mysql. Very well written.

The only thing I see bad about that tutorial is it doesn't really teach you the php, insead its using extentions.

The blogs? They're written in PHP, you only need a text editor and a copy of PHP installed (you can get it free here). Macromedia are trying to convince you that you need to spend alot of money and buy Dreamweaver.

me and a buddy from CT are writing a blog portal called blogpal (blogpal.net) wich will be a open source project and will be free to everyone,

but if you cant wait unt'll then I sugjest Wordpress, or if you know php/mySQL, Write your own little script =)
