Okay, I have been wondering since I have seen this in a few places now, how do you get a bot in the forum? For example, the advertising bot for this forum, and at www.phproom.com there is a bot that replys to what you say. Is the advertise bot just for Invision, or is there a way to add it to a phpBB board as well? Thanks.

yes, i believe so, but i dont have a phpbb but this might work, make or find a bot's coding and just upload the codes of the bot and then put this in your board's wrappers:

<script src='URL of bot's coding here'>

good luck, let me know if you make or find a bot's coding! i'm interested in putting a bot on my forum as well!

phpbb.com, and i believe that invisionise place have mods that install bots on your forum automatically. Then you can choose what all the bot does.
Though, i've never used, or liked, the bots, so that's all the advice i can offer.
