OK OK OK! The announcement all FireFox browser-using visitors have been waiting for has arrived :)

You can now search Pixel2Life's tutorial database through your quick search box in the top right of your browser!

"woah!?! how do i do this?!?!" you ask? Well, go here: http://www.pixel2life.com/resource_center/...search_plugins/

Once your on this page simply select to install whatever plugins you wish and they will appear in your dropdown list for search engines in FireFox instantly!

Now, this isn't a simple "wow its just a plugin" release, we also have plugins for EVERY category currently on the website for which we have tutorials. Yes thats right, if you don't want to simply search all categories you can download a plugin for a specific category and just search within that given category!

Put this altogether with a release of the resource center, soon to feature all things centered around resources (hence the name) to do with Pixel2Life and we have a nice update for you all :D

I've also added search statistics spefically for the FireFox search plugins and a total search count just incase you needed something else to read whilst browsing the mass content of this site.

do a ctrl+refresh or a normal refresh, this just means the new javascript hasn't been downloaded :)

Hey Jay, something I noticed is that if you searched something using the ALL CATS plugin, it doesnt show up at http://www.pixel2life.com/resource_center/...search_plugins/ and when i searched shark with the 3D Studio Max Plugin it did show up. Is this a bug, or just my imagination?

Just an FYI that Jay has retired for the evening, but he will address any issues tomorrow when he checks the site :) You may want to send a bug report via the contact page at http://www.pixel2life.com/contact/ so he gets the issues as soon as he checks his email.

Way to go Jay! :D

Thanks!

did you automatically generate each one or did you do it manually because i noticed the mozilla site has a web app that will generate a search plugin for FF.

you have to right click youre firefox toolbar and click the option "customize", than you see a screen like this one, and than you just drag the search box into a place you like..
i prefer next to my bookmarks but you can put is somewhere else to :P
