First of all, gotta give props to Faken for this site. I've been coming here the last few months for all types of tutorials. With that said, I haveto admit, I am not that good at design. Maybe someone here could help me out.

I'm going to try my best to explain what I'm looking for. My fiance and I have just started a website. I can design a website, but I'm stuck on making a logo. The website is http://www.FRVR.com. (FRVR is short for Forever). The concept of the webpage is a simple biography on us and our family, and I'm working on setting up an "advice-like," column, something like a blog. So I'm looking for a logo.

Letters to use: FRVR, or FRVR.com

Colors: I'd like a white backround, Blue lettering

Size: This will be at the top of the webpage, and I honestly dont care about the size. Short-Wide, Tall-Thin, doesnt really matter.

Example
I really like the example looks. If someone made something that looked similar, it would be perfect.

Any work would be greatly appreciated. Inquires/submissions can be posted here, or you can email me, [email protected]. Thank you!

I just registered FRVR.com, may not show up till the end of the day. The other link, example, is here (if you go off the example it would be perfect):

Ok, well, I tried and tried to make that logo work, I just cant seem to get it. So I've worked a bit on my own, and I think I'm happy with it. Maybe you could help me with blending/fading.

My Webpage

If you click there, the banner up top is where I'm going with the project. I like how the site colors all work with the US flag atop. I wanted to give the banner some personality, so I added Mel's and my military pictures, as well as one dressed normal.

Maybe you could give me some tips/comments, or if you want to give it a shot and screw with it, heres the PS file: Header.psd

I really appreciate your help ;) :)

Ok since the file is 896K, it'll be a while, but I'll take a crack at it. Just fyi I'm on a 28.8k connection which is the delay, but I will take a shot. I see now that you're going for the smooth clear, elegant lines look, so I'll try and work some magic.

PS nice touch with the pictures!

Wow, I like it, and it actually works well with the site. ;)

Could I have the PSD for it so I can change pictures or whatever later on?

Thank you for all your work, you're a good man :)
