Clandestine: A PNG (specifically PNG-24) is a totally uncompressed format, unlike JPG but like a GIF. Also, a PNG can have unlimited colors, like a JPg but unlike a GIF. Plus, PNG can also do transparencies and preserve dropshadows or a transparent image.

Bryn: Thanks and yes, I did just look at the logo and figure it out on my own.

I am not on the PC that I have all my files on right now so I can't post it again. When I get to it again I'll check to see if I still even have the brush file. I may have to make another :D

I couldn't erase the gradient very well so I used the Elliptical Marquee Tool and made another circle, then i inversed it and deleted the lower part

Nice basic tutorial for making those glass orbs, but for you out there who are planin to make your logos, Dont make a logo you can not vectorise. Having a bitmaped logo will cause you trouble when somone wants to print it up or enlarge it later. This one tutorialised here can be done entierley with vectors if you have the time. :P

Wow, this tutorial has lasted for a year now. I never thought so many people would actually use it. especially since its my first tutorial.

Oh yeah, about the brush, I can't find it on my PC anywhere.
