at the moment i'm paying £5 a month for 800 MB web space.
is this worth it or are there any companies who do better deals i've looked around but i cant really find any

It's all good having a cheap host that supplies so much space, but at the end of the day if they are not reliable and their servers suck then it's pointless.
Still, your getting more than your moneys worth of space.

Serverseed is brilliant. Excellent support, low price, very high uptime, high spec servers, and loads more.

For that price, I don't think you need to look anywhere else, my friend.
As Sinny said, you're getting more than your money's worth.
I've seen companies selling 15MB for more than that.
The alternative is to set up your own servers.
