i am editing a pic but it has a red shadow form someone beside the person on it, can anyone help me get it off?

What do you mean exactly? Like you cut out a person from a photo that had another person next to it, and that person's shadow is on the cutout? If that's what you mean you can do some detailed color changing in photoshop.

im guessing you need to get the selection tool and select the area of the red shadow, then you can create a new layer and add the color you want it to be and change its layer type to color.
