hi well i need to set up my subdomain fast and i had designers block, which sucks.

so, i tried to set up the first table, but in the properties, there isn't an option for background. i looked at the other tutorial for coding a content box also.
this is what it looks like:

hey, i download some templaes from online to look to see how they put all the tables together, and i see its hard, but i understand how, it's just so hard to get everything to flow, i can make amizing website templates in Photoshop but once i try to code em, even if i slice right and all, or if i try this tutorial, they just never come out right.. :D

P.S i'd have Dan code it, but i don't have teh $$ and plus i'd like to learn how, becuase i want to start designing templates. :P
where did you download the samples? im trying to set up my own site, and i cant figure out how to code and slice it correctly...

make sure u set

0 boarder thickness
0 cell padding
0 cell spacing

when u create the table.

set the background images.

then do another table inside the text area with some cell spacing so the text doesnt stick to the side.

Well, Smarty.

If you're having problems using PS, maybe you could give Fireworks a try and see how it turns out for you. IMO, it's simpler to use and the integration with DW is tight, moreover, working betwen both appz simultaneously is a snitch.

Besides, it isn't at all as hard to get on with as PS. (Just a thought, only a thought.)

Okay, it finally worked. Now I have another question for you L337 GFX masters :D

I made the table. And I inserted images (which I'm going to define as links later one) but I need the space of the images to be smaller...

Posted Image

Can anyone help me with this?
You see that because everytime you insert a new image you press enter next time after you insert the pic instead of pressing enter hold shift and press enter then you insert the image and it will go down auto (after press shift+enter do not press enter) :D
