ok, i can make very nice looking websites in PS and i can slice, and put it into dreamweaver, but when i try to code my content box, etc.. they get messed up, and i know its because i can't use the code that Image Ready puts out, but i can't make my own code to build the page eithter so i just get stuck.. =[ -cnelson.

do you mean when they stretch they get messed up? becasue if you have a vertical gradient or scanlines or something then you cant have the boxes stretch. you can however have a horizontal gradient and up and down scanline type stuff. anything that can stretch vertically without distorting. if thats not oyur problem IDK what is. I'm not good at coding yet.

Slicing has to be one of the easiest things to do in photoshop. Here is a ultra quick tutorial. Go to File> Save for Web. Then press Edit in ImageReady. Then make your slices with the slice tools. After that go to File > Save As, and save the html as index so it will be index.html. Then click on the index.html and your template has been sliced. Now you must start coding your template.

making a nice template in Photoshop is easy as p*ss slicing is a little bit harder if you don't know what your doing!
