say i bought a domain name like 6 months ago, and i didnt need it anymore. BUT i purchased the domain for a 2 year agreement and already paid for the two years. How would i go about in selling the domain to at least get most of the money i spent back. Basically, could i sell the domain back to the company i bought from, or how would i sell it to someone else?? thanks
PS. dont ask why i bought it for 2 years and only used it for 5 months. i thought i would have the time for it, but in the time being i realized i just dont have the time.

your host should offer the option to "transfer" your domain... if you post around that your domain is for sale and someone wants it all u need to do is transfer it to them.. Domain hosts like GoDaddy provide helpful help documents to guide you through the process.
whats the domain name by the way?

Registrars don't buy domain names back.
If the domain is in your hosts name you cannot do nothing until its transferred into your name and you have full control.
But there is a place on the web where you can sell your domain/site or at least get it evaluated.
http://www.sitepoint...isplay.php?f=56 read the pinned guidelines
or appraised at one of the following sites:

http://www.namepros.com/
BTW when you get hosting you should NEVER EVER allow your host to buy your domain for you as then they have full control, always buy a domain name first before taking hosting no matter how great a deal they offer.
